There is a central heating system and each room has radiators that are placed underneath the windows, there is no air conditioning.
A short walk away, about 500 yards, up a lovely cypress lined path, there is a five feet deep pool which is furnished with large umbrellas for shade, chaise longues and chairs. There is a changing room below the pool where guests can leave their bathing suits. There also is a refrigerator for drinks and a separate bathroom. The pool is occasionally used also by the owners. It is not immediately outside the house but its location is so breathtaking that the very short walk is well worth it. It is very safe for children even because there is a gate with a lock at the beginning of the path. |
